HL2 Model Decompiller Error

So , today i found this thread : http://dynamusecorp.simplygaming.org/t531-how-to-port-css-models-to-cs-16

Then i followed the tutorial , but i have a problem when decompilling the HL2 Models with Cannonfodder's HL2 Model decompiller , when i click extract this thing poped-up :


Can anyone help me with that.. Very Happy

I saw something about the site of the valve but nothing that will help us
this really is the worst mistake a person can have

here's how.

1) download NotePad++
2) Right Click on the MDL
3) Click " EDIT WITH NOTEPAD++ "
4) see the " IDST0 " ?
change it to " IDST, " or vice versa.
save and decompile it again

thats the only way of fixing that. didn't work ? probably you modified something while changing the IDST0 to IDST,

or maybe it's just because the models?

cuz now i can port objects from CS:S (but not weapons) Surprised
